Bremerton Yacht Club, located in Phinney Bay

Welcome to the Bremerton Yacht Club

Founded in 1929, we are a family friendly club promoting camaraderie, enjoyment of boating and safety on the pristine waters of Puget Sound. Nestled in Phinney Bay, the Bremerton Yacht Club offers tremendous protection from wind and waves providing a safe port for your boat<. The club, grounds, first class picnic area and moorage render a quiet and resort like atmosphere. Combine that setting with our outstanding facilities, social calendar and Oro Bay outstation and Bremerton Yacht Club is one of the best kept boating secrets on the planet.

Oh, and the members are really friendly too.

NEW CHANGES IN MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

We are kicking-off our Membership-drive with 2 new By-Law changes. We have moorage available for the first time in years, as our moorage rates are some of the lowest in the Puget Sound; charged by the sq foot @ about 20 cents, a 12’ x 30’ boat=360 sq ft x .20=$72 a month.

We have many advantages for boaters, with a haul-out & a work shop available, almost at cost diesel & gasoline available, a private, quiet out-station on Anderson Island + more than 100 reciprocals available to our members. These are only some of our features, for additional membership information please call our Membership Chair, Paula Lewis @ 360-536-1483 or rlewissj@ix.netcom.com

The first By-Law change removed all geographic boundaries, must be a United States Residence, changed from a Kitsap County resident.

The second was a little more creative, we now have a “Limited Moorage” for new members who agree to rent one of our "Limited" moorage slips initiation fee $500 vs the normal $1500. To qualify for this type of membership the Float Committee will approve that the beam & LOA will fit into one of the “Limited” slips, most of these are on Poverty Row so draft will also be a consideration.

As a reminder we also have a membership fee reduced to $500 for new members under age 35.
