WDFW European Green Crab Trapping Effort
at Bremerton Yacht Club
Hello!
My name is Peter from the Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife European Green Crab team. We’re planning on trapping June 4th through 6th (which is a Wednesday-Friday) and we would be setting traps both off the marina as well as the lagoon behind the parking lot. We’ll deploy traps the first day, come back and check them the next, and then check and retrieve them on the Friday.
Last year it was quick and easy, and I don’t expect it to be any different this year. Let us know if there are any issues with those days and if not, we’ll be sure to reach out a little in advance to remind you all we’ll be there.
