Sail Regatta Meeting - 15 May; Novice Sailing Program
Sail Regatta meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 1900 in the main ballroom. All sailors, and anyone interested in sailing, are invited to attend. The next meeting is May 15th. The topic this month is the formation of a Novice Sailing Program. We will have a guest speaker from Poulsbo Yacht Club discussing the formation of the program at their club.
Sail Regatta Rendezvous; 1-2 June, Poulsbo
Make plans now for a weekend rendezvous in Poulsbo, 1-2 June. Details are being worked out now, but tentatively include: potluck Friday night, Brownsville Race on Saturday (for the racers), and dinner ashore Saturday night. Please contact Capt. Joe Payne with any special requests or ideas.
Wanted: Sailing Dinghies
We would like to obtain 2-3 sailing dinghies for club use. If you have a boat in reasonable shape that never seems to get much use, or know of someone who may have a boat, please contact Capt. Joe Payne.
Anyone interested in sailing lessons for their kids, grandchildren, or themselves is encouraged to contact Capt. Joe Payne or Capt. Gunter Krumme. We are attempting to gage the interest in a novice sailing program this summer. Don't be shy!
