BYC DINNER PROGRAM

2 June, 2008 Regular Business Meeting

"June 2nd will be the final General Meeting until September, so mark your calendars for a special evening. We will be served one of Jytte Wheeler's fantastic dinners, followed by an outstanding presentation by a Passage Maker Magazine contributor and author, Jennifer Hamilton. Jennifer will be sharing some of the delightful insights from her new book, "Cruising the Secret Coast". This is a real treat for all of us. We will also be introducing the new Executive Committee, so get your name on the sign-up sheet and don't miss out." (V/C Mike Dunn) Dinner: Seasoned Hamburgers with all the trimmings and condiments, home made potato salad, dessert, coffee, tea and 2 drink tickets for soda, beer or wine. Time: 1800 Social; 1830 Dinner Cost: $7.00 Each Program: After dinner Ms. Jennifer Hamilton will present a slide show and narrative derived from her new book, "Cruising the Secret Coast". Together with her husband James, Jennifer has cruised and documented those little known (to most of us) nooks and cranneys along the Inside Passage of British Columbia. There will be a question and answer period at the end with books for sale for about $45.00 each. My guess is that Jennifer will be glad to sign your book too. After the Program there will be a brief business meeting. This is a great way to kick off the cruising season and you may go places you never thought you would!
