Port Ludlow Yacht Club Moving into Own (Rented) Facilities Onshore

The Port Ludlow Yacht Club now has its own facility onshore! It is leasing the downstairs "Wreck Room" of the old, now closed, Harbormaster Restaurant across the pond from the entrance to the guest (incl. reciprocal) moorage and will make it available not only to members and their guests, but also to members of reciprocal clubs, such as BYC. Plans include a liquor license, the possibility of ordering food to be delivered by the Port Ludlow Resort Inn as well as renting the facilities out to visiting yacht clubs. The official opening takes place on 8 January. You find more details in the January issue of the club's newsletter ("Jib Sheet")". Might future BYC Fleet Captains now be interested in considering Port Ludlow as a cruise destination? Stay tuned.

I'd also like to thank P/C Don and Flo Floyd, and committee, for a fun Friday Taco Feed. The hot sauce was to die for. These Friday night socials are a great way to just sit back, enjoy a little food and drink, and enjoy the company of other members. We have quite an eclectic group here at the club and there is always something for everybody. [Source: VC]
