BYC Annual
Chair (2006): Sylvia Wilson
Chair (2004/2005): Jack Flood
Notes from the Annual Chair:
The Annual is assembled and can be picked up at the Club Store during
their scheduled hours. There are, as usual, changes that have come in
after the Annual was printed. The first page in the Annual is a
correction page to replace information in the Annual - on the back of the
page are changes and new information regarding members. Following are
more changes that need to be copied into your Annual:
New address for:
Frank Young's - 12072 Olympic View Rd. NW - Silverdale - WA 98383
New Address for:
Ray Stroble - 361 Ridge View Dr. - Sequim - WA - 98382
Resigned:
Pat DeWitt
New Boat:
R/C Mike Dunn - KATHLEEN
As new information is made available I will pass it on and hope you will
do the same - via the Web Page correction
form, via e-mail or phone.

Today is June 14 and as I write this article the Commodore, Vice
Commodore and Rear Commodore are proofing the Annual - their books
returned by June26 - on the 30th the Annual is on it’s way to the
printer – and back in time for the 1st general meeting in September.
If you were not able to supply updated or corrected information this
year I am accepting pictures, membership updates and general
information for any and all events for next years Annual. The time
frame will be the same – all information due by the 31st of May 2007 to
guarantee publication in the 2007-2008 Annual. The By Laws, Rules and
Regulations, Yacht Directory and Reciprocal Moorage Guides are being
run in-house and will be available for distribution with the Annual.
Please keep your membership information up to date with the Treasurer,
Annual Chair, Facilities Manager and on line;
www.bremertonyachtclub.org. It’s been an interesting challenge, to say
the least.

* * * From the WebTeam:
If you have any additions or corrections to the recently published BYC
Annual and do not
want to wait until the next edition in the Fall of 2006, send them to:
bycwebteam@bremertonyachtclub.org. We have created
a special page in
the "Members-Only" section of the BYC Web site for such changes,
so
that
members can correct their own copies of the Annual.

Subject: ' THE ANNUAL CHAIR'
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
After several years of dedicated service, Brett Halffman has exchanged his
keyboard and scanner for some extra time with his family.
In his place, Jack Flood has taken on this responsibility.
The 2003 Annual is available at the store counter. As you peruse
your copy,
make note of any changes and pass them to me by using:
- BYC Lounge mailbox
- Telephone: 360.373.4995
- E-mail: dr.flood@comcast.net
I am also looking for anyone interested in taking photos of yearly
events; or those moments when we wish no one was there to capture the
event.
Points are available.
Check Accuracy of your Annual Information!
"NOW HEAR THIS, BYC needs your help! As you may have already read in
the
last issue of the Towline in the Rear Commodores Article, BYC's members
information ie. The annual, master membership list, has numerous errors
and omissions. Everyone reading this issue of the Towline needs to
update their personal information, as the Annual and Chairmans list has
numerous errors. Check the Annual and with the Treasurer to see if the
current information we have for you is in fact correct."

"In recent weeks, I have tried to reach various members of the Club using
our most recent Annual or the Officer and Committee Chair list. I was
very surprised to find that both contain numerous errors and
omissions. In talking with our Treasurer, I also found that even the
master membership roster contains errors. I ask that everyone please take
a few minutes to check that your Club records are up to date not only for
address and telephone numbers, but also pictures of you and your spouse
for the annual including one of your boat. Check with the Float Committee
to be sure they also have current yacht data, ie. name, length, width, and
draft." [Source: R/C's report for
