Thanks also to all those Skippers that decorated their boats or volunteered on the Santa Ship and cruised in the Lighted Boat Parade this year. This years parade was one of the smoothest run I have witnessed. Thanks to the wonderful skippers, for having hardly any gaps between boats. Least I forget the effort put forth by our Rear Commodore Charles Billings in developing and executing a very basic but fool-proof format to take and record site information for those on shore, which helped tremendously in making this a timely and better experience for all concerned.
I hope everyone enjoyed that wonderful BYC Christmas dinner put on by our own Bridge Officers and their wives ( especially their wives ). Thank you to Gerri Bachman and her team of fabulous cooks. Lets not forget, the wonderful Christmas Carols sung by "Sound Wave" and I for one, marveled at the gift ideas thought up by 'Santas Elves".

FEB 13 THRU 15 HEAVY WEATHER. Tune-up your Log Racing skills, and get ready for a weekend of fun. Those of you not racing should be ready to VOLUNTEER for the many committees that help put this big event on. This is BYC's signature event, and is an" ALL HANDS ON DECK EVENT" so sign-up for any of the many jobs that happen in preparation for the weekend and those events during it, i.e., Heavy Weather Timber installation, Parking Lot Attendant, Fire Watch, Galley, etc. Please help make this the best Heavy Weather ever. Talk to any Bridge Officer, Committee Chair or any member about what you can do to help. By the way this is the time for any of you newer members to ask your sponsors, that brought you into this Club, HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Feb 22 BYC Fishing Derby has been moved to Aug. 9th, due to hopefully better chances of filling the fish ladder, please mark your calendar accordingly. That's all for now. Folks.
