I am proud and honored to be your representative as Commodore for 2016 - 2017. It was fantastic seeing everyone join in as Commodore Mike Murray, Bridge, Flag Officers and Executive Committee were released from duty. Followed by the Installation of the coming year representatives. A posting of the "Who Does What" is on the inside left door of our mailboxes across from the bulletin board. Thank you very much to everyone that has volunteered your time and talents to fill these seats. I especially look forward to another year of a strong unity between the Bridge, Executive Committee and Membership. I am very pleased to have Rear Commodore Phil & Susan LeBas join us on the Bridge, welcome. There are too many individuals to mention, that I very much appreciate your help in the preparation and performance of our Installation. A few of them are: Past Commodore Don Floyd, Captain Ray Henderson, and Captain Al Gonzalez.
I also want to say thank you to Past Commodore Ray & Crystal Norton for planning another outstanding Commodore Ball on Saturday, June 4th. We are expecting a full house.
We, the Bridge, are going to try and keep or articles brief to allow space for more content in the Towline. Such as articles from our Regatta for Power Chair, Captain Steve Brett and Regatta for Sail Chair, Captain Jay Spearman.
In closing a quote from Benjamin Franklin: "Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight".
We look forward to seeing everyone at our events and around the Club,Commodore Dan Saikkonen
