It's hard to believe that this is my LAST Towline article. The remainder of our term is a full one. Opening Day, Awards Night, Our Installation (Change of Watch), three (3) Commodore Balls, and Poulsbo Yacht Club's Installation.
By the time we receive this, many of us are getting ready for the Seattle Opening Day PARTY on the Docks at our Big Brother, Queen City Yacht Club. There are several of us that go over Wednesday & Thursday May 3rd & 4th to get the party on early. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
Start watching for the Sign-up of the quickly approaching BYC Commodore Ball on Saturday, June 3rd. Thanks to Past Commodore Mike & Ruth Murray for putting this festive Event together. Also to Bev Bruin for the Flyer and Invitations. As well as to Fleet Captain Stacy Longenecker for handling the decorations. We are looking forward to sharing this SPECIAL OCCASION with our friends at BYC, and with those of the Grand 14.
It has been a VERY busy and full three years, and it goes by so quickly. It has been a pleasure representing our fantastic Club. I would strongly encourage anyone to experience the fun and fellowship gained by this experience. The friends you make are amazing, and the bonds will last forever.
In closing a quote from Benjamin Franklin: "Well done is better than well said."
We look forward to seeing everyone at our events and around the Club,
