Reports from the Bridge

Sep 2011

Seems like summer was short this year. Actually according to the weather men, it was. Coldest on record. But, it was lots nicer than way up north. Stacy and I had a wonderful cruise the end of July into August to the San Juan's. We saw several BYC members and had some nice visits. We caught more crab than I ever expected. It was great! Looking ahead to the upcoming fall and winter.

Our meetings are on the first and third Monday's of the month. This coming January, both the first and third Mondays are holidays. I'm open for suggestions as to what to do. PC's any input?

I've added an additional article in the Towline of some issues that need attention. Please read and heed.

Log racing will be picking up this fall and into the winter to prepare for Heavy Weather. If anyone would like to do the hard part and time their boat, I'm more than willing to assist. I personally prefer to do this in nice weather, so, let's go soon!
By the time this is out, the Labor Day cruise will be in the books and I'm sure Trina Carlson will put on another GREAT cruise. Thanks Trina! So all for now, Stacy and I'll see you all around the club.
