We're finally into the Fall season. Along with that are several social events. A great time to get back together with your yacht club friends, reminisce about the good old days and tell summer stories. On September 12th, JD Weiner chaired another fantastic traditional BYC Salmon Bake. It was a very nice day with plenty of food, drink and salmon. Everyone really enjoyed the event. After the Towline deadline comes the BYC 10th annual October fest chaired by none other than Jytte Wheeler. I'm sure it will be another huge success. The entrance fee included a 10th year anniversary beer stein. What a great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary. Then comes the BYC Junior Officers Ball. The theme for this is Woodstock. If you haven't signed up, please do so soon as you read this. There is limited seating and tickets are going fast. Come in your psychedelic tie die shirts, your old hippie cloths from the 60's, I know some of you still have yours. This is a time for the Bremerton Yacht Club to host the other yacht clubs of the Grand 14 to show them how we can put on a party. Please attend. After that comes the Halloween party, New Members Night, all the Christmas events and then the New Years party. New Years plans on being bigger and better than last year, so, please put that one on your calendar. That's all for now, so, fair winds and following seas.

Vice Commodore

Leo and Stacy Longenecker.
