Certain events were the responsibility of the Rear and Vice Commodore, and to the committee chairs and committees that supported these events I must extend a special thank you.
Thank you to Cathy Thomas and her Dockettes, Mona Lisa Ryan as our skit director, and many thanks to the infamous Mark Twain (Kevin McStay) who also served as chairman for Saturday night dinner and base player/singer/agent for "The Spenders"!
I'd also like to thank Bev Bruin, Maralee Ormiston, and Mona Lisa Ryan for a great Friday night event, and Rich and Leslie Hunt for a stupendous breakfast (that was Leslie's mom's recipe for the potato and cheese casserole that was so popular)!
Thanks are also in order for Sylvia Wilson, our photographer and videographer, Jim Minard and Al Erlandsen for an awesome job on frequent set-up and tear-down of the tables and chairs for various events, Stacy Longenecker who managed to get all the trophies made up for the racers, and Gary Scott for his assistance with the sound systems.
These are just a few of the member's that allow this event to "take on a life of it's own." I'm sure the commodore will have a full list of his own.
From this year's Rear Commodore and on behalf of the Vice Commodore, thanks again!
On Friday, March 6th, Bev Bruin and Mona Lisa Ryan will be facilitating another "Game Night" at the BYC. This is a bring-your-own everything potluck as there is no charge for attendance. As you know, Bev and Mona Lisa did this last month and it turned out to be a lot of fun and a great way to spend a Friday evening with friends!
Also, on Sunday March 8th, the PC Club will be hosting a Sunday Breakfast. Thanks in advance to Gary Carr for chairing this event.
I hope to see you at the St Patrick's Day cruise! I'll be there.
