Those who were not able to attend the Taco Feed, January Breakfast, Crab Feed and Superbowl Party missed some great events. Thanks to CAPT Jim Markham, CAPT Bob and Marva McWaid, CAPT Randy and Marcia Trott, and CAPT Mike and Mona-Lisa Ryan and their crews for some wonderful times. In addition, I want to recognize and thank the Skipperettes for hosting “Skipper’s Night” on February 1st. It was a fabulous dinner followed by a great program using our new digital projector on cruising the Inland Passage and Alaskan waters. Looking forward through the next few months, the Planning Committee will shortly be finalizing the projects and equipment to be needed for next year and then passing the recommendations on to the Budget Committee for funding. Please make it a point to attend all of the upcoming General Meetings so you are aware of the needs of the Club and be a part of the decision making process. Your input is important! On another note, the Nominating Committee, chaired by P/C Gary Carr is still looking for candidates to fill the positions of Treasurer, Secretary, and two Executive Committee members. Anyone interested should contact P/C Carr or any of the Club officers. Additionally, I will be looking to fill chairmen for the Railway Committee, Float Committee, Special People’s Cruise, and Work Party. I would appreciate anyone interested to contact me as soon as possible in order to enable a smooth transition. These are very important positions that need to be filled in order for the Club to operate efficiently. Skål,
