2008's social activities "started on January 11th, with a "Taco Feed" Chaired by Jim Markham. This event was a new twist for BYC in that the food, beer, and wine was provided FREE to BYC Members. However, everyone attending was asked to make a "donation" to the BYC Youth Sailing Program. All of us who came enjoyed the usual good food, good drinks, and good fellowship. The really GOOD NEWS following this event, was that the Youth of the Bremerton community will benefit from the generous donation of some $560 given by BYC Members. Way to go Captain Markham!"
